The Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) is delighted to announce a new collaboration with the Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT), on the back of the appointment of the new AWTE Board last week. This new partnership will allow the two associations to work more closely together where there are common goals. This includes collaboration on existing events throughout the year, benefitting members of both associations. The boards will also be looking at new event opportunities bringing all members together, to network and share best practice.
To recognise contributions to the industry, the AWTE will be sponsoring the brand new ‘Trailblazer of the Year’ award at the ITT Future You Awards, which will be awarded to an individual who has done exceptional work in championing diversity, equality and inclusion within their business, the industry, university or college. In return, ITT will be sponsoring the newly created ‘Rising Star Award’ at the annual AWTE awards which will take place at the AWTE Christmas Lunch on the 6th December 2022. The Rising Star Award will be an opportunity to celebrate individuals who are making waves across the industry and fast tracking their career.
