The Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the 2022 Annual Awards.
The AWTE is inviting nominations from around the travel industry to honour those whose have made a significant contribution over the last 12 months.
The winners will be announced at the Annual Christmas lunch, which traditionally starts the travel festive season on the 5 December at The Swan Underglobe, Bankside, London.
Chair, Lindsay Garvey Jones said, “2022 has continued to be a really challenging time with Omnicron variant impacting the travel industry at the start of this year. However, the resilience of this incredible industry and its people how agile and innovative we can be. Once again, after the success of last year’s combined event we are delighted be able to bring together our Annual Awards and our Christmas lunch in one-star studded event. With so many people going above and beyond in the last 12 months, and this is an ideal opportunity to recognise those efforts. For 2022, we have also reviewed our Annual Award categories along with how the nominations are judged. We are welcoming industry experts to join with members from the AWTE Board to be on a judging panel.

Social Impact Award – For an individual or brand that has shown innovation in ways that have positively impacted the travel community or has developed their strategy in a sustainable and impactful way

Rising Star of the year Award - For an individual who is 30 or under, relatively fresh to the industry and has made a significant impact. – in partnership with ITT
