Our Sessions
At AWTE, professional and personal development sit at the heart of what we’re building together.
Led by our two Development Directors, alongside our Chair, we are shaping a programme of sessions designed to support women at every stage of their journey in travel - creating space to learn, reflect and connect.
As our programme evolves, our intention is simple: to create supportive, relevant and engaging spaces that help our members grow - both professionally and personally.
Why Development Matters
The value of development often isn’t in big breakthroughs - it’s in the quieter moments.
A shift in perspective. A new way of thinking. The confidence to approach something differently. Over time, these moments can change how we show up - in our work, in our relationships, and in ourselves.
That’s why creating space for development matters. Not because we have all the answers, but because growth happens when we give ourselves the opportunity to pause, reflect and see things differently.
Who are they for?
Our sessions are designed for women at every stage of their journey in travel.
Whether you’re early in your career, stepping into leadership, or bringing years of experience, you’ll find yourself alongside others with different perspectives, all learning and growing together.
How we deliver our sessions
Our sessions are designed to be accessible, flexible and thoughtfully delivered.
While some sessions will take place in person, many will be run online. This allows us to bring together women from across the industry, regardless of location, making it easier for members to take part and engage consistently throughout the year.
Most sessions will be intentionally kept small - typically around 12 participants. This helps create a more open and supportive environment, where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, reflect and be part of the conversation.
Our development sessions are offered as part of AWTE membership, creating a shared space where members can learn, connect and grow together.
