The Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) is delighted to announce that they have partnered with Dr Ula Cartwright-Finch who will talk at the first networking event of 2023. Dr Ula Cartwright-Finch will be discussing how to identify the tell-tale signs of stress and helping attendees diagnose their own stress profile, including the difference between good stress and bad stress. She will share simple practices to beat bad stress and deal with overwhelm.

Dr Ula is Managing Director at Cortex Capital, and she is an expert in human behaviour and cognition and is interested in peak performance. Ula trains in how to use psychology to enhance business performance. Ula holds an MA and a PhD in Psychology, and she practised as an international disputes lawyer for over a decade with two global law firms.

Lindsay Garvey-Jones, Chair of the AWTE says: “I am thrilled that Ula has agreed to join us at our upcoming networking event – in person this time. Ula is a real inspiration, and we are excited to hear what advice she has for us all about how to manage stress, especially now travel is back following the pandemic.”

Lindsay continues, “This is our first networking event of 2023 which we are delighted to be hosting this in partnership with the AWTE Benevolent. We also have other exciting developments which we will be sharing with our members over the coming weeks in the run up to our AGM in May. Our networking drinks are open to members and non-members, and it is a great opportunity to network and catch-up industry colleagues over a glass of wine …or two!”

This event is taking place at the Indigo Room, The Soho Hotel, Richmond Mews, London W1D 3DH, UK on 20 March 2023.
