The AGM of AWTE took place as a virtual event on Tuesday 29th June 2021 chaired by Claire Osborne, AWTE Chair.

This year there were four vacancies on the Board up for election. Following the voting, we are delighted to announce that the following women will join us as our new Volunteer Board Directors in the following positions;
Linzi Barber, Secretary
Helen Tustin, Finance Director (co-opted)
Emma-Jane Nutbrown, Membership Director (co-opted)
There still remains an optional Events Director position available to join Jane Pinfold.
With regards to Membership the following changes have been made and will be implemented:
Male supporters are now able to join AWTE. They can now be the lead member from a company or take up individual membership and are also eligible to be nominated for board positions
Membership is now open to those who either hold management positions or aspire to be management
We have already implemented the following changes:
Rolling membership windows – only 12 month memberships are available
Associate Membership extended to include those who have left or been made redundant from travel related businesses
