The Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024 Annual Awards. The AWTE is inviting nominations from around the travel industry to honour those whose have made a significant contribution over the last 12 months.
The winners will be announced at the annual Christmas lunch, which traditionally starts the travel festive season on the 29 November at Church House, Westminster, London.

For seven decades, we have been at the forefront of championing women in the travel industry, supporting their professional growth, and advocating for equality. The 2024 Awards not only honour outstanding achievements but also serve as a testament to our legacy and the incredible progress we've made together. I encourage you to nominate yourself or a colleague who embodies excellence, resilience, and the spirit of empowerment. Let’s continue to recognise and uplift the women who are shaping the future of our industry."
Travel industry employees can nominate themselves, a deserving colleague or someone they admire as well as a company that they believe really supports women with their career in the industry so that AWTE can publicly recognise their contribution.
AWTE Outstanding Achievement – New for 2024 - The Outstanding Achievement Award celebrates an individual who has demonstrated exceptional excellence and accomplished remarkable feats within the travel industry.
Ambassador Award –This award recognises a travel industry male professional who actively encourages, enables, and supports women in business.
Mentor of the Year Award - The Mentor of the Year Award, celebrates a mentor who has made a profound impact by guiding, supporting, and inspiring others to achieve their full potential.
AWTE Sustainability - New for 2024 - The Sustainability Award recognises an individual or organisation that has demonstrated outstanding commitment and leadership in promoting sustainability.
AWTE Unsung Hero - New for 2024 - The Unsung Hero Award recognises the outstanding contributions of an individual who has made a significant, yet often overlooked, impact within the travel industry.
Rising Star of the year Award - For an individual who is 30 or under, relatively fresh to the industry and has made a significant impact. – in partnership with ITT
