The Male Ambassador Working Group at AWTE is a dedicated initiative designed to empower men within the industry to become active allies in promoting gender equality and women's empowerment. This group champions an inclusive, accountable, and proactive approach to male allyship—ensuring men support without overshadowing, uplift without dominating, and lead by example with humility and intent.

Training and encouraging men to intervene in situations of discrimination, harassment, or inequality.
Promoting Allyship and Advocacy
Educating men on gender biases, workplace inequalities, and the role they can play in creating a more equitable environment.
Amplifying Women’s Voices, Not Replacing Them
Ensuring the group does not take over conversations but instead supports women’s leadership and listens to their experiences.
Addressing Harmful Masculinity Norms
Reflecting on and challenging toxic masculinity, biases, and behaviours that contribute to gender disparities.
Mentorship and Sponsorship
Encouraging men to use their influence to mentor and sponsor women in leadership and career advancement.
