| Our 54th Christmas Lunch was another glittering affair at the Royal Garden Hotel. Some 300 members and their guests enjoyed a great lunch, dedicated to raising funds for ChildLine, the children's charity which does such sterling work.   Chairman Tricia Handley welcomed members and guests and Benedict Allen, intrepid explorer, author and TV presenter, regaled us with tales of his hair-raising exploits in the Amazon.  The choir of St. Barnabas and St. Philip's CE Primary School sang traditional Christmas carols with great enthusiasm
