..... and this is what they had to say about the Christmas Lunch 2008:

Thanks so much for a super do on Monday! The event just keeps getting better and it was a lot of fun. My table worked brilliantly and I am really pleased with how it worked out. Well done you!
Laura Harcombe

Dear Tricia, I would like to thank you and all the Committee - particularly Aphrodite - for such an excellent Christmas Lunch on Monday. Such a happy atmosphere. The food, service at the Royal Garden Hotel I thought was excellent. Thank you for your kind appreciative words concerning myself and all those sitting at table 14 - making us all feel part of a truly united in membership.'Facing' the Christmas Lunch as Chairman I know it feels like looking at Mount Everest.....but once well climbed you will, I hope, now feel a great sense of satisfaction....I wish you and all the Committee a very Happy Christmas and thank you for all you do!
June Liddiard

Just a very quick note, in the middle of getting my accounts ready, to say many thanks for inviting me to your lunch and for introducing me to so many good contacts. I really enjoyed the afternoon and evening and met some very interesting people. Speak to you soon. Regards
Ian Stevens

Hi Tricia - It was really great speaking with you last night. I wanted to congratulate you again on a brilliant lunch yesterday. And of course, despite my boys in Black beating your lovely Welsh boys, it is always great to watch them beat the Aussies like last week (so many rugby fans in the room last night, we should try to organise a day out to the rugby at some point!!!). As I said last night if you need any help with organisation of any of the events or if you just need an extra set of hands at all then please give me a call. Look forward to seeing you again soon. Best wishes
Emma Cox

I just wanted to thank you for a lovely lunch on Monday, my client was most impressed! The meal was excellent, a modern version of the traditional and having the wines included in the price with the champagne reception was far better than having to pay on the day for the wine, and more professional. I hope we can do the same next year. Thank you to you and all the Committee, a job well done. Kind regards
Geraldine Malempre
