The Benevolent Fund was formed by AWTE in 1967, originally to support AWTE members enduring difficult times, personally or professionally. Many Active, Honorary and Associate members have benefited from gifts or subsidies that have helped them through illness and losses. The Fund also celebrates happy occasions by ensuring births and marriages are recognised too!

To support this activity, a dedicated Committee of seven AWTE members, led by the Benevolent Fund Chairman Bella Rangel Callan, spends much time and energy raising funds. Two raffles offering attractive prizes are held every year and tickets for the £100 Club Draw are sold at AWTE events and by post.

In order to deliver benefits we need to hear from you! Please take a moment to advise us of any Member who has suffered through either illness or bereavement, celebrated a birth or marriage. We want our Members to know they remain in our thoughts. If you have information to pass on or would like to make a donation, contact any of the Benevolent Committee members listed below by email, telephone or fax.
